I’ve always been drawn to the shape of Leitrim, it’s long narrow outline split in two by Lough Allen. It’s Irish translation (grey ridge/hill) feels appropriate, as the rural and sparsely populated countryside surrounds you with rolling hills and drumlins. This piece is a tribute to my home county and the peace and tranquility of its undulating landscape.
